Why Immigrants Matter Everywhere

Lately, my posts about immigrants have been reaching people beyond my community. Just to be clear, I’m talking about people living legally in a new country.

Here’s why immigrants are so important in every country

They pay taxes that support public services.

They fill labour gaps in industries that need workers.

During COVID-19, they kept healthcare running.

They bring skills, ideas, and businesses that boost the economy.

They enrich society with culture, food, and diversity.

Immigrants make every country stronger and many Canadians also move abroad to work and grow.
