New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has announced that US President Donald Trump has agreed to grant Javits’ mother an immediate visa so she can travel from Ghana to the United States and say her final goodbye to her son.

His mother has been thousands of miles away, and no parent should have to go through the pain of l0sing a child without the opportunity to say goodbye in person.

While nothing can bring Javits back, this development could give his mother the chance to be with her son one last time.
