Social media never forgets.

Everything we post, even the ones we write “just for cruise” can resurface years later. And when it does, intention may not matter as much as impact.
Simi’s tweets of several years ago, when no one knew her has resurfaced online and is currently sparking a lot of conversation on social media space.

At 22, you’re an adult. There are certain things you simply shouldn’t joke about or post carelessly. Even if you weren’t serious, even if there was no sinister meaning behind it some things are just too sensitive to treat lightly. Words have weight. Posts have consequences.

One thing I truly admire about many people in Western countries is how quickly they own their mistakes and apologize when they’re wrong. No long stories. No unnecessary defense. Just accountability.

Growth starts with accountability.
Sometimes, it’s not about defending yourself it’s about learning, apologizing, and doing better.

What do you think should old posts always define a person, or should growth count too?
