She Was Just Days Away From Graduation: Nigerians Mourn the Painful Death of Oluwabukola Pereira in America

A heartbreaking tragedy has left many Nigerians in tears after the shocking death of Oluwabukola Pereira, a young Nigerian woman who was killed in the United States just days before her MBA graduation.
According to reports, the 30 year old was shot during an alleged robbery at her workplace, Arise Auto Center in Lockland, Ohio, on May 8.
What makes this story even more painful is that Bukola was preparing to graduate from Xavier University on May 16 with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. She had also secured admission for another postgraduate programme in Business Analytics later this year.
From chasing dreams to planning her future, everything suddenly came to an end in a heartbreaking moment.
Bukola was not only focused on academics. She was also passionate about sports and belonged to Cincinnati’s Elite running group. She participated in several races, including the Flying Pig Marathon, inspiring many with her energy and determination.
Friends, classmates, and family members have described her as a woman full of faith, kindness, and positivity someone who always encouraged others and carried light wherever she went.
Instead of celebrating her graduation and achievements, her loved ones are now mourning a beautiful soul whose future looked so bright.
May God comfort her family, friends, and everyone affected by this tragic loss. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
