PLANNING TO STUDY IN THE UK? HERE’S HOW MUCH M0NEY YOU MAY NEED TO SHOW

International students applying for a UK Student visa may need to demonstrate that they have enough m0ney to cover their living expenses while studying.

Under the current requirements, students may need to show:

• £1,529 per month for courses in London up to £13,761 for 9 months.

• £1,171 per month for courses outside London up to £10,539 for 9 months.

This is in addition to the required funds for tuition fees, where applicable.

For applicants who need to provide financial evidence, the required funds generally need to have been held for 28 consecutive days, with the relevant 28-day period ending within 31 days of the visa application.

So, if you’re planning to study in the UK, it’s important to check the latest requirements and make sure your finances meet the rules before submitting your visa application.

Do you think these financial requirements could make studying in the UK more difficult for African students?
