Nearly $10 Million to Help Internationally Trained Professionals Work Faster in New Brunswick!

Good news for internationally educated professionals and skilled tradespeople looking to build their careers in New Brunswick!
The federal government is investing $9,986,323 through the Foreign Credential Recognition Program to help qualified professionals get their credentials recognized faster and move into the workforce sooner.
The funding will be distributed through New Brunswick’s Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour and will focus on four sectors facing major labour shortages:
Health Care
Skilled Trades
Engineering
Education
For many immigrants, having the right education and experience is only the first step. Credential recognition can sometimes be a long and frustrating process, forcing qualified professionals to work outside their field or start over.
This investment could help remove some of those barriers and make it easier for internationally trained workers to put their skills to work in New Brunswick.
If you are an internationally trained professional or tradesperson considering New Brunswick, this is definitely an update to watch!
What do you think? should Canada invest even more in helping internationally trained professionals get into their fields faster?
