JAMB IS COMING TO OTTAWA, CANADA

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced plans to establish a UTME examination centre in Ottawa, Canada, from 2027.

This means eligible Nigerians living in Canada and potentially other parts of North America could sit for JAMB without having to travel all the way to Nigeria just to write the examination.

According to JAMB, the initiative is aimed at making the UTME more accessible to Nigerians in the diaspora and strengthening their connection with Nigeria’s tertiary education system.

What do you think about JAMB bringing UTME closer to Nigerians in Canada?

Would this make it easier for Nigerian families in Canada to consider sending their children to Nigerian universities? Let’s hear your thoughts.
