Family Is Family. Business Is Business. I’ll Keep Them Separate.

I won’t encourage my children to go into business together not because I doubt their love for each other, but because I know how quickly money can complicate family relationships.

Today, they may be the best of friends. Tomorrow, disagreements over profit, responsibilities, investments, or decision-making could create unnecessary tension between them.

I’d rather see each child build their own financial independence while supporting one another as siblings.
