Canada Commits $8.6 Million to Support Black Communities

The federal government has announced $8.6 million in funding to support initiatives for Black communities across Canada.

This investment will help fund:
• Youth programming
• Justice navigation services
• Culturally appropriate community supports
• Community-based initiatives focused on real impact

The announcement is part of ongoing efforts to address barriers and create more opportunities, fairness, and inclusion.

Will this funding create lasting change or become another short-term promise? What do you think, is this enough?
