BURNA BOY PRESENTS AWARD TO BUKAYO SAKA FOR HIS HUMANITARIAN WORK

Nigerian Grammy-winning superstar Burna Boy presented the 2026 Sócrates Award to Arsenal and England football star Bukayo Saka at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in London on Monday, October 26.

But this recognition goes beyond football. Bukayo Saka was honoured for his humanitarian work, including his partnership with the charity BigShoe, which helped fund 120 life-changing surgical operations for children in Kano, Nigeria. ❤️

It’s beautiful to see someone using their success and influence to make a difference in the lives of children who need medical care.

While Burna Boy continues to represent Nigerian music on the global stage, Saka is showing that greatness goes beyond what happens on the football pitch.

Two stars, two different fields, but one beautiful message: success means even more when we use it to help others.

Congratulations to Bukayo Saka. And kudos to Burna Boy for presenting this meaningful award.
