BIG NEWS FOR NIGERIANS LIVING IN THE UK! 🇬🇧

Getting or renewing a Nigerian passport in the United Kingdom is about to become easier.
The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has directed the Nigeria Immigration Service to deploy a special team from its headquarters to the UK to help clear pending passport applications and process new and renewal applications.
The team arrives in the UK on August 10, 2026.
Working with the Nigerian High Commission, the team will travel to designated cities across the UK to conduct passport enrolment and processing.
That means eligible Nigerians who may have struggled with access or faced delays could have a better opportunity to get their passport matters sorted without having to travel long distances.
