A Society That Works

Today, I witnessed a small moment that says a lot about a healthy society

A police officer walked into a coffee shop, joined the queue, and waited just like everyone else. No special treatment, no cutting in line. What really stood out? His cheerful, polite demeanor, greeting people warmly and chatting with a customer like a regular person.

Back home, uniforms sometimes come with fear or entitlement, but here, authority is human, approachable, and respectful.

It’s a reminder that strong societies aren’t built only on laws, they’re built on mutual respect, humility, and everyday acts like waiting your turn and sharing a smile.

What small everyday moments have made you appreciate how a society works?
