TRUMP SAYS CANADA WILL EVENTUALLY BECOME THE 51ST STATE OF THE U.S.

U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly said that Canada will eventually become the 51st state of the United States, sparking fresh conversations about the future of the two neighbouring countries.

But Canada has its own identity, history, government, values and national pride. 🇨🇦

Canadians have built a country they call home, and its future should be determined by Canadians, not by another country’s ambitions.

Canada and the United States can remain neighbours, trading partners and allies without having to become one country. Being good neighbours does not mean giving up your identity!

Do you believe Canada should always remain an independent country? What makes you proud of Canada?
