GHANA SIGNS DEAL WITH COLUMBUS TO OPEN U.S. JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR NURSES

A new opportunity is opening up for qualified Ghanaian nurses and other health professionals who are looking to work in the United States.

The Government of Ghana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the City of Columbus, Ohio, to establish a framework for the ethical recruitment and deployment of Ghanaian health professionals, particularly nurses, to employment opportunities in the U.S.

The agreement is intended to create credible international employment opportunities while protecting the rights, welfare and professional interests of Ghanaian health workers.
