FROM ZIMBABWE TO SERVING IN THE U.S. ARMY, WHAT A JOURNEY
Former Zimbabwe National Army soldier Kelvin Takudzwa Muchineripi has shared a remarkable story of how his life has changed since moving to the United States and serving in the U.S. Army.
He recalled that in January 2020, while still in Zimbabwe, he had less than US$100 in bond notes while supporting his wife and two children.
Today, his journey looks very different. Photos of him in his former Zimbabwean military uniform alongside his U.S. Army uniform show a remarkable new chapter in his life.
He also joked about his appearance, saying he now looks much younger and remembering a time when he looked older than his own mother. 😄
His story is an inspiration that life can take unexpected turns when new opportunities come along and you keep moving forward.”
From difficult circumstances in Zimbabwe to building a new chapter in America, his journey is certainly inspiring.
